HSE Solution Group Discussions
Solution workshops are a critical element of the ASSET Programme. We undertake the solution workshops once we have analysed the results of the ASSET survey. We use them to help us to verify the survey data with the staff themselves and to explore with staff the range of solutions that may be possible in the context of their own working environment.
ASSET surveys are successful because they ask the workforce what is enabling and blocking their performance – this means you get an objective view of what it’s like to work in your organisation. Once issues are identified it makes sense to involve the workforce in designing the solutions and action plan for improvement.
