Professor Ivan Robertson, Managing Director

Ivan is Managing Director and founder of Robertson Cooper. Ivan has consulted extensively to Central Government and private sector organisations over the last twenty five years. He has experience of working at the highest levels in government and the private sector. Ivan has published over 35 books in the arena of Occupational Psychology and is an internationally recognised industry expert in the areas of personnel selection, assessment and leadership development. He is Professor of Organisational Psychology at Leeds University Business School, a Fellow of the British Psychological Society and Emeritus Professor at the University of Manchester.

Professor Cary Cooper, CBE - Director

Cary is a Director and founder of Robertson Cooper, and Professor of Organisational Psychology and Health at Lancaster University. He is recognised as a world-leading expert on stress and is the media's first choice for comment on workplace issues. He is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, The Royal Society of Arts, The Royal Society of Medicine and The Royal Society of Health. He is also the President of the International Stress Management Association (ISMA) and the author of over 80 books.

Dr Jill Flint-Taylor, Director

As head of our London Team, Jill works with several Government departments and blue chip companies in the areas of talent management, leadership development and well-being. Jill specialises in ensuring that organisations attract, retain and develop the best talent. She coaches at the most senior levels and has extensive experience in designing and delivering leadership development programmes. Jill is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist.

Gordon Tinline, Director

Gordon heads up our Manchester Team and is also responsible for business development activity. Gordon works with clients to instill a sense of purpose and well-being that translates into bottom-line improvements. He has worked extensively across the Police Service, Government and Private Sector, delivering well-being audits and helping clients to implement change based on the results. He is a recognised industry expert on well-being in the workplace and is in constant demand for speaking platforms throughout the year. Gordon is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist.

Ben Moss, Director

Ben manages the Marketing & Business Development Team at Robertson Cooper. The team is responsible for raising awareness of Robertson Cooper’s products and services, as well as developing strong long-term relationships with existing and future clients. The team looks after the company’s media relations, its online presence and the events that Robertson Cooper regularly offers. Ben also has a client-facing role and is an experienced consultant in both the public and private sectors. He is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and previously worked as Principal Occupational Psychologist at Greater Manchester Police.
